Glenwood Lutheran 2023 Day Camp
with Luther Crest is coming!
August 7 – 10th!

As in previous years, we are using the talents of Luther Crest Bible Camp to enhance programming.
Who: Children who have completed Kindergarten – 6th grade from our congregation and the (global) community. You don’t have to be a member of GLC to come to Day Camp.
What: Day Camp with Luther Crest Bible Camp counselors will have you exploring how as a child of God, you are: “Holy Loved. Wholly Loved.”
Where: Glenwood Lutheran Church, drop at parking lot (south) door
When: Day Camp meets Monday through Thursday, August 7 – 10, from 9:00am until 3:00pm.
Join us in the City Park 10:30am, August 6th for “Kick-Off Sunday,” during worship, enjoy a treat and meet your camp counselors.
Registration Deadline: Monday, July 19th
Why: As an outreach ministry of Glenwood Lutheran Church, for the children of our congregation and community, providing opportunities for relationship and faith formation. The Luther Crest Day Camp Staff brings their own enthusiasm, leadership, and teaching styles as well as the camp curriculum and resources to our congregation. Learn how to forgive, serve your neighbor, show love to all, and pray as Jesus taught.
Cost: $30 per child, and no family pays more than $50
YOU will need to provide a sack lunch each day for your child(ren), a snack will be provided each day!

Donations: Help send a child to Day Camp. Donations are welcome. (A scholarship of $125 will pay for one child.) Make checks payable to Glenwood Lutheran Church and write “Day Camp Scholarship” on the memo line. (NOTE: The church through the Education budget, and fundraising, subsidiezes the cost of registration for children. Families pay no more than $50 to send their children, or $30 for one child. This way their is no hinderance to attend.)
